ReplyDeleteIt reminds me . . . you once asked me if I had horses growing up. I only had one--an appaloosa with quarter horse bloodlines--which I didn't ride ever, as she wasn't broken to ride for my intermediate skills. (I later gave the green two year old to my brother, who had spent a few summers working in Wyoming for an outfitter--she was much more his speed.) However, I did have a good friend who had horses, and we would often get together and ride at her house, or just "play" with the horses, bathing, currying, cleaning saddles, ad infinitum.
Hope that makes more sense. :o)
